Will this flatten my belly???

I like my body shape, but I need to belly and tone my hips. And loose weight.

I have got 10mins solution blast belly fat and I'm aiming to do 10mins per day, did 30mins one day and 20mins today, but atleast 10mins per day.

I am also doing couch to 5k when I get the chance. And a little cycling (very little as cycling with 5year old dd)

And I am trying to cut down on carbs and up my protein.

I am also thinking of getting a protein shake.

Will this help to flatten my belly? As I say I like my overall shape but when I sit down I have a serious jelly belly and it folds over itself. I have a hourglass figure, so standing up looks fine, but it seriously needs to be toned up.

I dont want to do strength training atm, as last time I did that I got in good shape but got bigger thighs and I would rather shrink my shape down abit Confused

Shred.... That's the only thing that flattened my belly.

I've found doing lots of different exercises, ie running, cycling, swimming and shredding has helped. I don't go for low carb as I'd rather have energy to exercise. But I do go for wholegrain where possible. Avoid sugar and drink lots of water and you should be fine Grin. I still need to lose a couple of kilos but it's hard to follow my own advice with the kids off school!!

Cutting out wheat and reducing my intake of refined carbs flattened my belly. Exercise will strengthen your muscles but it depends on the cause of your belly - do you think it could be partly due to bloating?

I am trying to do high protein low carb at the moment, but I am not hardcore no carbs! I think it could be slightly due to bloating as after 5days of eating less carbs I lost 2inches off my waist! Bit nothing off my hips.

So the belly could be bloating and fat, where as the hips must be just far, I really need to loose those too!

I can't live without carbs at all either :) and if you do, they find you!

I think a combo of exercise to improve muscle strength and reduce fat as well as sensible eating to reduce bloating (I find probiotics help with that) will get you the results you want.
