Shooting while pregnant

im 13 weeks and was planning to get back into shooting clays - then I suddenly thought that the loud noise might damage my baby's hearing. Does anyone know about this? Shotguns are seriously loud and you can't fit silencers.....

Went clay shooting for my hen weekend, and one of our number was in 1st trimester. She had been advised not to join in, but because she had miscarried a couple of times, and was playing it ultra safe. So, probably not much help but didn't want you to go unanswered. Have you asked your midwife?
