Which running buggy/pushchair?

Smallest DS is approaching the size where he will be comfortable sitting in a buggy while I run...this is great timing as middle DC is off to nursery after Easter!

Does anyone run with a buggy? Which one do you run with?

I have one of the old original baby joggers with a fixed wheel, it is fantastic to run with and if I had the space to keep it up all of the time I would hold onto it. My house is tiny though and it is a bit of a pain to assemble each and every time, it is also a bit big for the school run (I tend to go out straight from school).

I have seen this one but wondered if it might be a bit excessive, I'm not sure if I'll be off doing any half marathons any time soon! I did wonder if the City elite would have enough leg room and be less bulky. I am also trying to see if I could get away with owing just one pushchair that will do everything!

TIA for any recommendations, tips or experiences!

We have a Baby Jogger Performance, it's brilliant for running, but no good if you want the space. What we've found though is from 8 months we could move DD into a very small pushchair that folds up tiny and now just have that for the shopping etc. and can keep the babyjogger for actual running.

I did try running with a friends buggy similar to the city elite and found it very hard work and frustrating compared to the revelation at how unnoticeable the babyjogger was.

Not much help I know - sorry.

It's a start, thank you fred. My jogger is the old version of the performance I think, it's as light as a feather too...I got rid of my phil and ted sport because it was just too heavy.

Perhaps I need to give it another go...(and get up 5m earlier so I have time to assemble it in the back garden before we leave...it could be worth the hassle!).
