Been advised of the doctor to stop running as I have a lose body (chipped bone in my knee) is there any non impact exercises I can do at home?

Tia

You could get the 30 Day Shred video and just skip out the cardio bits (although you'd need to warm up properly). I often have to have time off impact related exercise and I find that I just get bored/demotivated at home trying to do floor work - having Shred on keeps things a bit more interesting. I normally just repeat the floor sessions whilst she's doing the jumpy bits.

A gym ball might also be a good investment for core work

Sorry, I meant you'd need to come up with your own way to warm up properly because the shred one is v jumpy.

Obviously you have to warm up properly Blush

Davina dvds good for low impact circuits as they give a low impact beginner version when doing cardio - though there are star jumps etc. Wouldnt do the shred - too high impact.

I've had this problem, and did the Davina DVDs but substituting "squat punches" for the cardio intervals, which are usually full of star jumps and stuff which will jar your knee. Basically you squat and then punch to each alternate side as you come up.
