Which trainers should I wear?

I am in desperate need of new trainers. I've always just worn running trainers at the gym, but I don't run at all any more and I'm wondering if there are better trainers for classes? I've heard that netball trainers might be the thing to get. I do things like pump and combat and body attack.

I overpronate and my feet and knees really hurt if I don't wear 'proper' trainers - should I just go to a running shop or is there somewhere else where I can get good advice?

Any experts out there?

I use cross trainers for pump, attack, aerobics, etc. Mine are New Balance ones

I've used Nike Lunar Lites and found them quite supportive without the hefty price tag of running shoes - but I've got neutral gait. If you've got a good Up and Running store near you, they'll do digital gait analysis but the advice they give is variable. I've found the Oxford and London stores to be superb, and very responsive if I've gone in and said I just want basic but supportive trainers for gym work; but in a couple of other places - incl the Liverpool branch - I've found them to be too pushy and not v knowledgeable.
The alternative is to get custom-made orthotics and v. cheap trainers - the orthotics are costly but they tend to last longer than trainers.
