I don't know if anyone here remembers me but I was a regular on the running threads a few years back. I got to the point of running an 11 or 12 miler at the weekends and 2 other runs of 5 or 6 miles during the week. I was so smug! Well, a combination of various things (injuries, meno, depression etc) put pay to that and I am now 2 stone heavier and with hardly a muscle to my thighs.
So I downloded the NHS Cto5K today and am starting tonight (with my also unfit and overweight eldest boy). Please tell me it works! Please tell me I'll be back to decent distances again soon. I hate feeling flabby and useless.
