'Sing it back' - Moloko - never fails to make me smile, even during some of my worst runs.

What are your bestest running tracks?

i am currently running to some northern soul classics

any song with loads of heart can make me really go for it; i.e. born to run (arf, i know) or etta james' version of i'll fly away

most people prefer dance stuff though i reckon

I like a bit of iron maiden. Also im never sure what to do with my arms when running so air drumming helps.

I am the resurrection by the stone roses - i can get a km out of it on a good day. i don't run for very long though i get bored.

Cheesy pop for me - so Girls Aloud, kylie, the Saturdays all that kind of twee cr*p usually keeps me going. And Pink. However I also have some fairly eclectic stuff on my main running playlist including...

Since you've been gone - Rainbow (good for air drumming Jenny)
Big Area - Then Jericho
How Soon is now - Tatu (oh the shame...)
Hit - The Sugarcubes
Mr Blue Sky - ELO

I'm such a child of the eighties!!

And when I'm struggling, randomly I always find Theme for Great Cities by Simple Minds good, dunno why but it goes on for ages and it's either because it gets slightly faster all the way through or because it keeps key changing upwards (I'm sure there's a technical term or that) but it never fails to get me over a lull in motivation!
