York was pants!
Went to National Railway Museum. Theres an hour of my life I'll never get back. Never been so bored or surrounded by single, bearded men in anoraks!
Restaurant was wonderful Called Goji, food and service was excellent, highly reccommended.
The xmas market was tiny, poor and over crowded. The whole city was just too busy to wander around with a 3 yr old who got just as bored as we did.
I'm sure York would be lovely on a warm summers day but avoid at the weekend b4 xmas!
No weight loss this week due to mild illness preventing and exercise but getting back to full health this week so reaaly going for it!!
How are you doing? butterfly

kunahero · 03/12/2011 19:27

Not a good parkrun today 22.19 but on the upside I lost another 2lb this week!

butterflyexperience · 05/12/2011 17:15

Hi kuno
How are you after illness? Hope you've recovered well from it.

Will take your advice about staying away from york with a little one!
An well done with more weight loss your doing fantastic!
I've been ok.
Have been busy with getting ready for Christmas and working on my jewellery line.
No running for me unfortunily, baby's sleep has been awful over the past month she wakes 4-5 times a night. So exhausted by it that I don't get up in time for a run Sad am really missing it. Hopefully baby will sleep better soon

dont want to worry you but our dd didnt sleep through the night til she was 30 months old!!!

Much better from 'illness' which was actually a very painful pile!! which meant walking, sitting and standing was painful for three days but all better now. Just done a 30 minute/10k row now about to collaspe after shower.

Where do you sell your jewellery, do you make it yourself?

hope you get some sleep soon.

butterflyexperience · 07/12/2011 19:14

30 months?? Oh dear lordConfused
Am really missing running but am far to exhausted. Maybe at the weekend...

I have started making handmade silver jewellery selling online and at craft fairs.

I was featured on mumsnet as a business start up a month or so ago.
If you check under the barclays section in mumsnet you'll find a video of me and kids Smile

kunahero · 12/12/2011 21:14

I didnt!! minding DD in the v icy park while dw skated around east park for 5k. tooooooo cold. next sat mil has dd for morning so we can both do park run and I am hoping for a good time. Xmas eve my big dd will be with us and she will have dd (small) so we can both run again. I am tempted to do the one on xmas day but think the family will never talk to me ever again if I do!!

Did you run this saturday?

butterflyexperience · 13/12/2011 06:18

Your right it has turned very cold!
Sounds like you and dw will enjoy a few runs together always makes it fun to run with someone Smile
I had a stall at a local Christmas fair on Saturday so missed out park run.
Still havnt run yet either.
Maybe I should do the park run in sat just to force myself back into running....

How's your weight loss going? I'm so impressed with your progress so far Smile

Go on Butterfly force yourself out for a run, you wont regret it.
Did you sell much on your stall?

Dont know if i've lost much more weight as I only weigh myself once a fortnight and this wasnt my weighing weekend. I'll find out on saturday am if I'm any where nearer my target. At my last weigh in I had 4lb to lose to hit first target then another 9lb by june the 3rd 2012. I may not do it due to the weather this week as I cant bear running in the wind so may just go on the rowing machine for 45 mins every eve. Dw and I dont actually run together just at the same time due to differences in speed...... I cant run that slowly Grin

Get out over xmas, do yourself a big favour and pull those running shoes on.

butterflyexperience · 14/12/2011 18:27

You cheeky so and so! Grin dare you to say that to the mrs!Wink

Your right just gotta get out there and run there's no other way.

Your'll meet your target you've been doing so well!

Stall went well was only a local school Christmas fair however sold a ring and cufflinks so was very pleased Smile
No more no till new year am enjoying Christmas now my eldest had her nativity play today she had her first line and did so well!

Think I was the most excited person there Blush
