The Speedo Mariner ones make me feel like my eyes are being vacuumed out of their sockets! Any suggestions for something more comfy?

I asked this question about two years ago and failed to get any advice. Will be watching to see what is said! Don't use speedo but will need to look to see what they are

I like zogs best. For a good fit put them against your eyes and they should stay there by themselves.

My ds1 is a swimmer and he cannot abide speedo. Zoggs are OK in an emergency, he says, but he's not keen.

His all time favourites are TYR , and Few goggles - he prefers the one piece rather than the adjustable bridge goggles. He also likes Aqua-sphere

I used to sell goggles. Aquasphere goggles are really comfortable. The Kaiman lady are good. But it really depends on the shape of your face. Different makes suit different people.

Aquasphere are really easy to adjust, Speedo are really fiddly.

After trying loads of different goggles, mostly speedos, about a year ago I got these and I love them, no leaks, no steaming up and no horrible red lines around my eyes after a swim. Bit more expensive but so worth it, there is nothing worse than having to keep interrupting a swim to fiddle with goggles!

Oops, think I linked to wrong model, I have the Vista lady mask! Blush

Vibrant · 24/09/2011 22:20

I have those too, they're really good for open water swimming - but I do wear them in the pool too as they're so comfortable. Some people get put off by the mask look.

Thanks very much everyone for the suggestions, and taking the time to do links. The Aquasphere ones do seem to get good reviews for comfort. To be honest, I would even put up with a bit of leaking if I could find something more comfortable than the Speedo ones!

No sure I'm brave enough for the mask idea, although perhaps optically they might balance out my gigantic thighs. Grin
