Does my nearly 7 year old need proper trainers for the race for life?

She's only got £2.50 plimsols that she uses for PE at school. Do you think I should get her a pair of trainers? And if so, does anyone know were you can get reasonably priced trainers for kids (size 13)?

what does she wear when she plays out? something along those lines would be fine eg cheap pair of trainers from supermarket. there's loads of sales on at the moment so you could pick up a bargain on branded trainers as well, sportsdirect is always good but jd and all the others seem to have sales on at the moment
