Pool and gym 5 mins from my house in same building.

Pros for gym:

Will burn 600 calories which will make up for booze and sausages last night
Can get there at 4.30pm and collect kids from CM on way home

Pros for swim:

Need to train as have triathlon in 2 weeks and haven't swum for ages (but can easily do distance I think)

Please decide for me.

Ta.

Do a bit of both? I quite often spend 30-40 mins on cv equipment then 30-40 mins swimming - depending what stroke you do and how much effort (being that you are doing a triathlon will assume you are quick) can burn more calories than the gym :)

Gym! Less calories = less resistance in the water, faster swimming!
