backwardpossom · 28/05/2011 18:17

I reckon it'll be a bore fest, but will kick off spectacularly about 5 mins before the end. Barca to win.

GypsyMoth · 28/05/2011 18:30

will watch,dont care who wins!!

i just love footy!

bibbitybobbityhat · 28/05/2011 18:35

NOT excited here.

Dh is there - has a ticket.

Ooopsadaisy · 28/05/2011 18:52

Is it wrong for an English person to want Barca to win and for Lionel Messi to be spectacular?

I hope Barca win.

And that Rooney and Giggs don't score.

Ooopsadaisy · 28/05/2011 18:57

Rooney and Giggs only score when they're playing away - but don't tell anyone I said that Grin.

At least this is one Saturday night that Mrs Giggs knows where he is!

I'm watching - Suffering from withdrawal symptoms since the football season finished - I need my fix!

backwardpossom · 28/05/2011 20:19

Hmm Got that wrong then! Good!

TheSkiingGardener · 28/05/2011 20:22

DH is there. I am very excited, because it marks THE END OF THE FOOTBALL SEASON! Except for playoffs obviously. So when DH gets home, I will actually get 2 day weekends again.

I see Man U are losing. That's not good, that produces a grumpy DH.

Primalscream · 28/05/2011 20:27

It's 1-1

bibbitybobbityhat · 28/05/2011 20:29

Oh Skiing, is your dh also a sports journo?

I love June and July: we can behave like a normal family and actually see people at the weekends Grin.

TheSkiingGardener · 28/05/2011 20:35

No, he hasn't even got that excuse. He's just a passionate Man Utd fan. He is getting a bit better, before DS was born he went to every match, home and away, including Europeans. At least he is open to negotiation! A journo sounds worse as he must just get sent when the matches are on.

Primalscream · 28/05/2011 20:56

Oh no - shocking defending

Primalscream · 28/05/2011 21:11

That's it - all over
