I know another Shred thread. Have just got the DVD and am planning on checking it out this morning. I'm hoping that doing this semi regularly that it will give me more energy and hopefully wipe out the 5pm Death Zone.

Just one quick question: what are sensible things to wear for it?

Have done lvl2 with weights today! All those plank jacks are a killer. I think I will stay on lvl 2 for the next week until I get bored.

It's useful finding all these different exercises. Makes you realise what you can do with static positions and hand weights.

So how is everybody doing?
After 8 days of lvl2 and not missing a single day I got a sinus infection and have been off it since Sunday. I am going to see how I feel tomorrow as the antibiotics are working but will probablymdo lvl1 for a couple of days.
I think it is not a bad idea to mix it up - apparently it is best for your body if you do not stick to the same exercise routine all the time.

As for weight loss - for me it has been zilch. But there is some inch loss. I must be one of those people who hold on to weight wile EBF!
I am still going on with it though as I do enjoy it and it will help me to lose weight in future.

Have been back on the Shred wagon since the Friday before last and finally starting to loose weight! Only a lb so far but now I am under 11 st. Would like hand holding for today since I am going to attempt lvl3.

Blush i keep forgetting about this thread, sorry!

am still on level 1, but now following Natalie not Anita. For me that is a major achievement Wink

i have no idea if i've lost weight, scales are banned in my house (whole different issue) but i know my fitness levels have increased, and i have biceps to show off!

i don't know if it's all the grimacing i've been doing either, but i'm sure i've found a cheekbone too!

keep shredding, it can only be good Smile

Have done lvl3 quite a bit but am alternating with lvl 2 a d a couple of days off. Have noticed my knees seem a trifle sensitive so better tone down the plyometrics.
Lvl3 is hard but it made me buzz. Sweat was running down my arms within 10mins.

As for weight loss - so far it's 1kg in six weeks but I am not specifically dieting and am still EBFing. I have notices more definition in my arms, shoulders and legs though. My thighs have gone down 2cms to 61cm and bodycomp is down to 36.1% fat- almost 1%! this is the in entice I need to keeP going.

Tonight will be my 7th night of the shred and I'm feeling 'firmer'. Can't say I've lost any weight but I don't really want to as my boobs start to shrink if I do. I'm happy to stay the same weight but I do want my stomach to shrink. I'm due af any time though so the bloat has taken over and it's difficult to tell if it's firming up. My arms def feel stronger though.

Right,
A confession. Havent been doing Shred sonoften as am now back at work. However it has given me themconfidence to make my own routine. I pick and mix differ t exercises and fit them into 1 min slots and aim to do 30'mins at a time. So for instance it could be 1'min squat rows and 1'min walking plank x3' then move on.'even if your not doing much cardio if you are doing strength workouts for more than 20'mins at a time you will get the cardio benefits.

Will try shredding tomorrow but sometimes hard to do depending on bf timing.
Also new mummies shouldn't do full press ups until gap in abs it closed. To check that do a crunch and feel for your abs if you can. I still have a ~1 cm gap there.
