Anyone use a jogging pushchair? Trying to choose...

Also posted this in the Pushchairs topic.

I'm choosing a pushchair for jogging , no rough terrain, mainly parks and pavements.

Have had the Kool Stop recommended and can get it locally. Would love a BOB but can't get hold of one from US.

So looking like the Kool Stop single for us... does anyone have any first hand experience?

How smooth is the ride? Does it feel cumbersome? Do you like the handbrake? Wear and tear?

Thanks in advance!

RunningDay - did you get it?

I have been getting into running this year... very slowly building up but starting to get hooked! I know having a jogging suitable pushchair would be very handy AND increase the options I have for when to run! No idea what to go for though

Hi cheepcheep, I haven't got it yet, but I'm much further on in my research. I think I'll be going for a Chariot CX1 or CX2 (which is also a bike trailer, and you can even get cross-country skiing attachments Shock). But I'm waiting to see if I can get it from ebay/classifieds (in Switzerland), as they cost £££.

The reason I'm going for a CX model is because they have a handbrake that's linked to the back wheels. On prams like the Kool Stop, the handbrake controls the front wheel, so if you tilt the wheel even slightly off the ground, you lose all the braking action.

I also got this Baby Jogger F.I.T. recommended in the pushchairs topic, but I can't order it myself as I'm not in the UK.

Have any other models caught your eye?
