I've been a little concerned about DD's lack of exercise, we do walk a lot and she's no couch potato and certainly not overweight but has never been into sports or fitness, she's much more of a bookworm and artist which is wonderful but I have worried that if she doesn't get into something now (she's 13) then it may affect her future health and fitness
DP and I are active and enjoy things like the gym or badminton and we've tried to encourage DD to join us but she's never seemed to enjoy it, being a little uncoordinated/underconfident/impatient/overperfectionist
She really liked basketball but only went to the school club once and didn't want to go back as it was only boys there and she was embarassed
Anywaaaaaaaay they've just started doing netball this week and her PE teacher has told her she's got potential to be very good at it so she's joining the afterschool club 
Just hope she likes it and sticks at it
