Football boots help please

Dd age 8 has taken up football club, rather than spend a bomb on a passing phase i am looking on ebay for some football boots for her as she is trashing her ncie white trainers, am confudled - there are metal studs, blades, astro turf, plastic grips blah blah - shes 8 and they play on grass and get up to the eyes in it. Can a football mother please advise as i am clueless what to look for.

i would get her the metal stud ones. Some places don'tlike blades. Astro turf are more like a trainer with a little bumpy bottom. sorry about my crap description|!

DD and DS wear studs in the winter. Plastic for children.

Are you near a Decathlon? They do cheap boots.

Metal studs not good for the children they tackle!

oh that is interesting. My boys have always played in metal studs, at school and in the local league. Sometimes blades have been banned as dangerous.

Mind you, they all hurt! A pair of very good shin pads is most worthwhile though.

ds 9 says metal studs are best and he plays lots of football and has all type of boots.
Check out ebay or your football club ours sells second hand / lost property

they have to wear shin pads so thinking tackling not a big deal as they are only little i think but then i dunno im green as grass, hmm

DS1 has those boots. They are cheap as chips in Sports Direct here so don't pay too much.
