Advice on gyms particularly Greenwich borough..!

Hi there, I am desperate to join a gym in the Greenwich borough and have spent some time going around trialling classes. I have a 5yr old and a 1yr old so I'd be looking to find one with a decent creche. I've also checked out David Lloyd in Kidbrooke but they limit their creche hours to 2 hours a day in the morning and on 2 of those days they don't take under 2's. In addition to this they insist on the baby being a member which they want to charge an additional £7.50 a month for on top of the £4 an hour creche fees. I think that's daylight robbery for a baby who clearly isn't going to use any facilities (not even the pool as I take her to lessons elsewhere)! Does anyone know of either a public run gym location or a private chain that have good flexible creche facilities. Thanking you and have a great day!

You could try "The Arches", it's part of Greenwich Leisure Ltd. It means that when you join you can go to any of the centres in the borough.
Not as flash as David Lloyd but not as expensive either Smile
I don't know about the creche arrangements though

we used the creche at DL kidbrooke aeons ago and the staff there were absolutely fantastic, well worth paying for when you have a baby, imho. I've no idea what they're like now, ask around the local mums, could well have all changed. I never enjoyed taking young kids to the Arches tbh when we were there it was fairly dirty though great facilities and v limited creche hours and not very confidence-inspiring staff.
