They're all too long for me and my capris expose too much lower leg........anyone know of something inbetween?

What sport do you want them for? Running?

If for running, then perhaps try Ron Hill Tracksters. I am 5'2" and the "original" model is fine. The material is also fairly thin (although surprisingly warm) so you can roll them up if need be without creating too much bulk (I often wear mine as capris in autumn and spring). Alternatively, try Nike. I have some thick winter running tights from them which also fit just fine.

Yes, running. Ordered Nike Filament tights (LOVE the capri length) but the whole of the zip was under my foot! Zip not really necessary for me. Will have a look at Ron's.

I bought Nike thermal running tights which just reach my ankle. I'm 5'62 with not very long legs.

They are pretty comfy, a bit lower in the waist than I'd like but they keep my legs toasty warm.

Have tried lots of different brands now... but all tooooo loooong - are there no other cold-legged midgets out there? Confused
