I'm doing the 51 mile route.

DH is doing it, so I'll be at the finish line....

i'm supposed to be packing my gear right now, procrastinating as usual.

anybody else?

and i know you're not out on your bikes today.

My dh and DD (7) did it so I was at the finish line.

wow, did your dd manage the full 50 miles? or was she attached to your DH's bike?

we managed it in 3hrs 20mins and thinking of doing the 4 abbeys ride in the borders this weekend

Yes, dd did the 51 miles - she was on the trailergator thingie for 2/3 of it and they did it in 4.45. You did a fab time!
Never heard of the 4 abbeys but may not divulge it as I'm already a bike and triathlon widow!

not sure i would have been as fast with a trailgator and child in tow.
that's very cool. she must be pleased.

She's a bit of a maniac wants to do a junior triathlon next year once she's 8! DS (4)can't yet cycle on his own so once he's up and running I'll probably get roped in with him!
