Hi, am sure this has been asked many many times before, but....I am just over 12 weeks prgenant with my second child. I went to the gym yesterday and the trainer was getting me to do hip raises on the Bosu ball, lying on my back. I had a chat to him afterwards and he was saying "There's nothing you can't do" and when I said, well why can't you do situps, he said he gets preganant women he trains to do them and as long as their back isn't arched it's ok.
Last time I was pregnant the trainer I saw didn't let me do any situps from asbout 14 weeks and I'm sure I've read stuff about not putting your legs in the air when you're lying down (but I'm not 100% sure)
I was kind of pleased to be told I could do anything (bit unusual when you're pregnant)but am also not 100% convinced - is he right?
