Couldn't work out why I was struggling so much with running a fraction of the distance I was running last year. OK so I've lost fitness. It's hot. I'm older and perimenopausal. I'm carrying more weight. But FFS it shouldn't make it sooooo hard!
But then it occurred to me that wearing a sports bra that was a tad too tight when I was skinny, is not going to be a good idea when I have gone up a dress size! I used a different one and ...eureka! I could breathe..
It's not exactly a difficult concept. Pleased I can run a bit better but seriously pissed off that I have proof of how much weight I must have put on
