Well yes. I've also managed to make invert syrup . That and some fiddling around with cakey stuff and I've managed to circumvent the shortage of Limoncello essence that appears to have gripped the UK. DW says it's quite acceptable, so it's likely that we'll stick with it and save ourselves £3.50 a shot (makes 750ml).

One reason why we never worried about hand sanitiser - I was knocking 55% abv from the first still and (if you're not going to drink it, as you tend to concentrate the congeners and fusel oils) get to c. 90% from that.

Been doing it for years so know it's quite safe. Ain't science grand ?
