Anyone fancy breaking some laws in a specific and limited way?

Me first, I'd like to break the law by going at 60 mph on the Cat and Fiddle Road.

I’m going to rob £20 notes only from the Norwich Barclays.

bellinisurge · 08/09/2020 13:59

That's fine @Fruitshootloop . In fact, it's probably fiiiiiiiiiiine 😂

Fucking dickwipes

Explains the resignation of the government’s Head of Legal. You'be be feeling awkward if you were a mid ranking lawyer in there, mortgage to pay but your legal ethics to observe.

I might vote illegally in the next election, but only in a limited way, in that I'll only cast one illegal vote, and only for a party that doesn't break international law.

Casting an illegal vote will make a change from not having a vote to cast at all.

I shall park my car with the back tyre outside the line not within it
the front tyre will obey the law though

To explain my very important reasons for wanting to do 60mph on the Cat and Fiddle Road - this is an extremely pleasing twisty road between Buxton and Macclesfield which we've had to reduce to boring old 50 mph to discourage bikers from treating it like a section of the Isle of Man TT. It's even got infrastructure on it to catch them. Which means decent law abiding drivers like me can't throw my lovely hot hatch around the bends in a way I obviously deserve because I am me.
I can certainly (air quotes) break the law but it would be for a reasonable course of action that no body would object to. I might stop off for a swift half at the Cat and Fiddle pub . It has nice views.

If you had a couple of pints you could also break the law against drunk driving in a specific and limited way.

bellinisurge · 08/09/2020 15:59

Genius. And nobody would mind because we all believe, right?

Don't forget to not wear a seatbelt at the same time bellinisurge

AuldAlliance · 08/09/2020 18:38

I'm only going to pay 80% of my income tax next year.

In Monopoly money.

TheUser420 · 08/09/2020 19:07

I'd grow some cannabis for my own personal use.

How limited is limited? If I draw up something legalese-looking backdated, can I take over control of a national trust estate down the road I’ve always fantasised about? It’s got a lovely walled garden.

ListeningQuietly · 08/09/2020 20:43

Ooh, Pepper
I like that - coveting cars now .....

bellinisurge · 08/09/2020 20:44

@Pepperwort , British common sense should help you 😂😂😂

I have missed something. Who has said what? Although I can guess what about.

DonaldTrumpsChopper · 08/09/2020 21:11

DS1 says that, if they impose local lockdown in our AREA, he will only break this to specifically meet up with his friends A and O..

Peregrina · 09/09/2020 09:50

I think we will break the quarantine regulations in a specific and limited way i.e. we will use our common sense, so avoid crowded places, wear a mask, but won't stop going shopping if we are supposed to self - isolate when coming back from abroad.

SistemaAddict · 09/09/2020 11:51

@bellinisurge you need 80mph to get the full adrenaline of that road Grin

bellinisurge · 09/09/2020 12:23

You're right of course, @Bercows . But I have never done that. Ever. Even though I used to drive that road before it became 50 mph. Did I mention "never".

OP posts:
Peregrina · 09/09/2020 12:58

Even better if you drive along it when it's icy - what fun, your own skid pan.

lakesidefall · 09/09/2020 13:37

can I take over control of a national trust estate down the road I’ve always fantasised about? It’s got a lovely walled garden.

No I don't think you can do this, but it would obviously be fine to take control of the walled garden as that is limited and specific.

Pepperwort · 09/09/2020 22:16

I'll get my camping gear sorted! I have official permission after all! Smile

pontypridd · 10/09/2020 21:07

We are currently breaking quarantine rules in a specific and limited way.

We’ll do the same with this new rule of 6 nonsense.,
