Westminstenders: PreGrades (Minority Report comes to the UK)

In Aug 2020, London, DC's prototype 'PreGrades' launched from the education department stops plebs before they go to university, reducing the social mobility rate to zero percent. Social mobility is predicted using specialized mutated humans, called "Teachers", who "predict" grades by marking shit lots of course work and exams over a period of years. Would-be social climbers are knocked down in a computer algorithm which distorts reality and hits the disadvantaged hardest. Central government is on the verge of adopting the controversial program nationwide by applying it in all departments from the DWP, the Home Office, the Department of Health and the Department of Justice to predict benefit fraud, getting sick asylum seeking and crime before it occurs.

DC's vision of the future is based on excellence being genetically ingrained into the elite but he must sell this vision to the unsuspecting public in a series of public votes which rely on the idea of the 'undeserving'. Little do they know that they too will be the victims of this plan until a mysterious bug appears and only the wealthy and well connected are able to get hold of adequate PPE and they are no longer able to buy bog roll nor retire to Spain as they had previously and endless queues for pizza form near Kent.

Boris Johnson's holiday snaps revealed: Carrie Symonds, 32, shares photos of PM hiking with Wilfred in a baby sling
as she holds their rescue dog Dilyn during three-day Scottish camping trip - as couple return home

Umm, is this a squirrel? I.e. everyone knows that Bozo can't keep his willy in order, and he knows that everyone knows it. So a nice little twitter storm about how his willy has been working overtime could be hiding something else.

ListeningQuietly · 22/08/2020 21:19

Where do I start with that photo
Sasha dolls must have been well paid

mrslaughan · 22/08/2020 22:20

The photos- well it really annoys me that I don't think they are using that baby carrier properly- typical sloppy behaviour on the part of Johnson.

But there is just something off with the photos .... or is it just me ....... they don't feel spontaneous..... they feel very staged, with Carrie hardly looking happy - the smile is not reaching her eyes...

ListeningQuietly · 22/08/2020 22:25

mrsL
Those are two random people who have been told to stand next to each other for a tourist picture
EVERYTHING in their body language speaks strangers
the fact that he is the senior decision maker in the UK adds interest

Peregrina · 22/08/2020 22:35

But when you look at the photo of Johnson with the violinist, they appear to be very close.

mrslaughan · 22/08/2020 22:43

..... goes back to study photo of the violinist.....
Actually when I originally looked at it - I remember thinking they are trying to not look close

GeistohneGrenzen · 22/08/2020 22:47

Peregrina

And didn't she train at the Kyiv Music Conservatoire? You know, the place that mystery VIP plane flew to recently from we don't know where? And returned to we don't know where either?

Does the mystery deepen?

TatianaBis · 22/08/2020 22:50

What’s the violinists name?

QNI survey of care homes during COVID crisis

https://www.independent.co.uk/news/health/coronavirus-care-homes-covid-nursing-covid-uk-a9681576.html

Nursing homes were put under “constant” pressure to accept patients with coronavirus
while being regularly refused treatment from hospitals and GPs for residents who became ill at the height of the Covid crisis.....

The Queen’s Nursing Institute said homes were told hospitals had blanket “no admissions” policies during April and May
while GPs and local managers imposed unlawful do not resuscitate orders on residents.

The findings have emerged in a survey by the QNI, the world’s oldest nursing charity,
which surveyed 163 care home nurses and managers working across the country.
....
It found that 70 nursing homes, 43 per cent, received patients discharged from hospitals whose Covid-19 status was unknown during March and April.
A fifth of care homes said they received a patient from hospital who was positive for coronavirus.

Odd photo, Carrie appears to have two left feet standing on a much steeper bank than de pfeffel - why carry a dog, let alone on the level?

Outer side of her right leg has a line a pixel or so wide following the leg - surely they wouldn't have been idiotic enough to photoshop images together?

BlackeyedSusan · 23/08/2020 01:58

Where's the shadow of Carrie's right leg?

BlackeyedSusan · 23/08/2020 02:11

And her left leg looks misshappen. The shadow she casts on Boris is wrong, as is her outline. Agree about the feet too. Though that could be shit addition of fake shadows.

SabrinaThwaite · 23/08/2020 03:59

Is Boris wearing odd shoes? The walking boot on the left foot looks different to what is on the right foot?

Peregrina · 23/08/2020 08:32

This sounds very worthy of the doctoring of photos which went on under Communism, where the heads of people who had blotted their copybooks were edited out, but whoops, they left the legs and feet.

Peregrina · 23/08/2020 08:35

Both pairs of walking boots look well worn in, and I can't really see either of them going for long hikes. I can't tell whether the photos look fake - badly done to look real, perhaps?

Bodoni · 23/08/2020 09:28

www.theguardian.com/uk-news/2020/apr/29/carrie-symonds-a-media-savvy-history-maker-in-no-10 - "She has an artful mastery of social media".

The Mail has lots more happy holiday photos (now on a wide range of sites) - but this is the only one with them together. I'll now delete my cookies again.

mrslaughan · 23/08/2020 09:53

DH pointed out that the one of them together - her hips are level, the hem of her shorts is level..... feet very definitely on different planes......

BlackeyedSusan · 23/08/2020 09:59

Yes. One knee higher than the other, but hips level. Perhaps she has eaten too much haggis...and now has one leg longer than the other so she can run round mountains without falling off?

boatyardblues · 23/08/2020 10:02

What’s going on with Carrie’s leg shadow? Her right leg trails off and her backside casts no shadow. There’s something odd about the photo but I can’t put my finger on it either.

DGRossetti · 23/08/2020 10:25

Personally I wouldn't waste a second with the photo. It proves nothing. And even if it did, it doesn't really, since the people that are backing Boris will just shout "fake news" and stick their fingers in their ears.

All the time people are discussing Boris morals - which are already known world wide not to exceed those of an alley cat - then there isn't the bandwidth to discuss the really important things.

If I thought they had the competence, I'd suspect that the "Boris affair" story has been planted by team Boris as a squirrel of their own. But if they were that competent the country wouldn't be in the state it's in. So Occams razor has to apply: the man is a 24-carat sleaze who is probably nursing an excuse of being a sex addict (a la Hollywood stars) in his pocket for when it gets too much.

Either that or he is pleased to see you.

DGRossetti · 23/08/2020 10:33

The "bylines" team are punting some podcasts, for anyone interested.

TatianaBis · 23/08/2020 10:56

No reason to think the photo isn’t genuine. But I live in hope of Boris’s next fuck up.

mrslaughan · 23/08/2020 11:05

Ok - ok - I know I should leave this alone - but seriously this tweeter has a point..... wilf is getting smaller in the photos
