The new NI proposal is bollocks and Johnson didn't get why until it was discussed in Europe.

There was a press conference in Luxembourg which looks good for Johnson.

Johnsons approval ratings are up.

And we are making no obvious progress to anything but no deal...

I don't normally do twitter - what did Laura Koenssberg say?

She outed the guy in an excitable, "Ooo, look, there he is" kind of way. So, if ever a member of the public has an opportunity to say anything critical to Johnson, they now know Laura K will be gaspingly trying to out them.

The other week I was moved to a hospital which I'd never worked in for a night shift with a few hours notice because they had no senior medical cover there for the night. No swipe card access to wards I was working on, no real idea how the system worked...

The vacancies are relentless, daily, every shift.

No one feels we are delivering a safe service any more.

Hearing uncomfirmed reports that the man in that video in the hospital was sacked by the Times for making up quotes in a story, and by Michael Howard for lying about an affair, and once conspired to get a journalist beaten up.

Can anyone confirm?

Why isn't the story the unsafe staffing, and not whatever political views a distraught parent of a sick newborn has?

And it would be the same if it were instead a Tory activist or anyone else

On any account, this was a father of a sick child, for gods' sakes

That he was a Labour activist was newsworthy - the irresponsibility was creating the conditions for a pile-on while he was concerend about child

And before people clutch pearls, I would say exactly the same if it were a Brexit party activist parent in a comparable situation

BBC Politics should be, and should be seen to be, more than the bluetooth speakers for the Number 10 press operation

Too often one genuinely cannot now tell the difference

And I am certainly no Brexiter or Corbynista

The prime minister was (again) caught lying

Undeniable evidence of actual dishonesty

Bang to rights

And BBC Politics?

Shrugs about the dishonesty

Instead questions the motive of the person who demonstrates this, and sets a Twitter pile on him

Leaked Conservative letter shows they are struggling to find a candidate in Hampstead and Kilburn because of the number of ”safe seat vacancies” elsewhere. 👀

They know it, we know it, everyone knows it: the Tories are in deep trouble in London. It’s me vs Corbyn’s Labour here.

And he attached a copy of the leaked letter.

In addition to worrying about his sick baby, the poor guy now has to look over his shoulder until the mouth-breathers hopefully forget his name

All helps to intimidate anyone else from calling out the PM in public, whether over hospitals, schools, Home Office cockups or any other public service

Yes, Red. But he had to. E taken back to the office and the child junior in charge of his Twitter account tasked to put that out.

And the only reason it looks remotely OK is because of Kuenssberg.

My main takeaway from that clip was that Boris Johnson lied as easily as breathing.

And he did it while staring at the thing he said did not exist.

He looked at the camera and said it wasn't there.

Yes.

Nothing detracts from the fact he's crazy on camera.

And that the press aren't asking him
Why he's electioneering in public money and while, supposedly, he's working his socks off negotiating.
