Sorry about my total ignorance, but DH says the LT takes over and we can't leave anyway.

I have no idea what it's all about and what the LT involves.

@Apileofballyhoo, that is really interesting about how Ireland views the EU, and how the referendum was used as an information exercise to change deals. That is how things are supposed to work. In Britain it's hard to get news of other countries' affairs - you have to go to their own newspapers really, and who has the time to do that everyday - and the meme about Ireland being told to vote and vote again until they gave the right answer has been repeated so often. I despair of the UK.

Op, please do keep asking questions. If only more did perhaps we wouldn't be in this mess. We have a class system in the UK, we're all treated as mushrooms and our readily available news feeds are disgraceful.
