... in the very near vicinity of "Tommy Robinson" and similar wherever they campaign?

Asking for a friend.

OP posts:

"Is it okay to assault people as long as you do it when they approach you?"

It depends if you have the permission of the person you are assaulting, does it not?

Tanith · 21/05/2019 08:58

"Just not on my face. I still need to look good for the cameras. You can chuck the whole lot over my suit - it's an old one and I'm just about fitting into it now - just not the face. I don't want to be dripping on the 6 o'clock news like that prat Tommy!"

The milkshake man has been charged with common assault and criminal damage;

Ah, Clavinova the cut and paste queen is here. How is the investigation into Farages' accounts coming on?

Ah, Clavinova the cut and paste queen is here.
Not for long - busy this week.

How is the investigation into Farages' accounts coming on?
No idea - just looked on the Electoral Commission website and found these instead:

7 Dec 2016 Electoral Commission calls for stronger powers to sanction political parties, as Liberal Democrats are fined maximum penalty

"The Liberal Democrats have been fined £20,000 as a result of the Electoral Commission’s investigation into the party’s 2015 UK Parliamentary General Election campaign spending return."

"The investigation found that 307 payments totalling £184,676 were missing from the Liberal Democrats’ spending return without a reasonable excuse. In addition, invoices supporting 122 out of the 307 payments were missing from the return."

“Our investigation uncovered systemic failures in ensuring that the rules were being followed" ... "this is an experienced party that failed to meet the basic requirements of the law, and cases like this undermine voters’ confidence in our political finance system." "This is why we have applied the highest financial penalty available to us."

And again;
19 Dec 2017 Liberal Democrats fined £18,000 for breaches of campaign finance rules.

"Details of £18,000 in fines for the Liberal Democrats have been published today by the Electoral Commission; this follows an investigation that found the party failed to deliver a complete and accurate spending return as a permitted participant at the EU Referendum."

Truly pathetic. December 2016 and 2017. OLD news.

Truly pathetic.December 2016 and 2017.OLD news.

One of the Led By Donkeys billboards posted yesterday has a quote from a Daily Telegraph article written in 2001.

Biscuit We already did this one
NoNewsisGood · 21/05/2019 11:34

Don't forget the boy who died after having cheese thrown at him.

Violence is never a good answer to anything.

Plus, the more stuff is thrown at him, the more the footage is shown, the more publicity he gets = not good.

TheQueef · 21/05/2019 11:38

Remember Prescott and the egg? You may not like the response.

bellinisurge · 21/05/2019 11:59

The best way to deal with twats like Faridge is to ignore them.

Leakinglikeacolander · 21/05/2019 12:02

Must admit I had a certain admiration for John Prescott when he thumped that idiot.

AnchorDownDeepBreath · 21/05/2019 12:21

Burger King don't seem to have got into any trouble for tweeting that they are still selling milkshakes...

Firecarrier · 23/05/2019 09:52

Haven't RTT

The obnoxious, immature, sneering, self righteous, self congratulary attitude of the lefty remainers is what bolsters people to vote for people like Nigel Farage.

So thank you, and Carry on.

(And no, I wouldn't vote for Tommy)

Love how you all are only in favour of democracy if it only goes your way though

Who said this back in May 2016?

"In a 52-48 referendum this would be unfinished business by a long way. If the Remain campaign win two-thirds to one-third that ends it."

Clue: first name is Nigel.

ReleaseTheBats · 23/05/2019 10:58

This is what you are stoking OP. Are you sure this is what you want?

Maybe you should show this to your ‘friend’. Ruth Townsley no longer works for this company as of Tuesday evening. All a bit of harmless fun.

Peregrina · 23/05/2019 12:58

They are a mardy lot - don't they know that clothes wash or can be dry cleaned. Farage was the man who was going to take up a rifle if brexit was thwarted, (except that since he's a big mouth he probably wouldn't) so what is a milkshake?

ReleaseTheBats · 23/05/2019 13:02

I've always thought you were one of the most reasonable Remainers on MN Peregrina. Really shocked to see you suggesting chucking milkshakes at elderly voters is acceptable. Horrible.

Peregrina · 23/05/2019 13:10

Where do I say that anyone should chuck milkshakes around? I don't even mention voters! I am contrasting it with big gob Farage talking about taking up rifles. This is the same man remember who talked about the Brexit vote being won without a shot being fired, only a few weeks after an MP was killed by gunshot and stab wounds. I am sure she and her family would have been only too glad if all she had to cope with had been a milkshake.

Or perhaps you have forgotten that Farage said any of those things, in which case this is a timely reminder?

Rufusthebewilderedreindeer · 23/05/2019 13:12

Ive also missed where you said that elderly voters should have milkshakes thrown at them *

Rufusthebewilderedreindeer · 23/05/2019 13:13

Peregrina should have been on the end of that sentence

ReleaseTheBats · 23/05/2019 13:15

I see. I misunderstood. Good to hear.

time4chocolate · 23/05/2019 15:24

They are a mardy lot - don't they know that clothes wash or can be dry cleaned

Peregrina I think probably some clarification is required, you posted the above sentence almost directly under the picture of the army veteran, I thought maybe a cross post but there is two hours between that picture and your post!

1tisILeClerc · 23/05/2019 15:29

time4chocolate
Two true statements, they are mardy and clothes can be dry cleaned, what is the problem?
Some very 'uppity' 'winners' around here, even if they have no idea what they have won.
