EU elections-how to vote?

I've never voted in the EU elections before but want to do so this time round. I'm registered to vote and have my polling card for the local elections. Do I have to register specifically for the EU ones? Do they campaign? I've never known of anything locally before but to be fair, until the last couple of years, I haven't had much interest in politics.

I do not think you should write off the LibDems. In 2014 they suffered the loss of most of their MPs from being in coalition with the Tories and in 2015 the "dark arts" of social media influence were used against them be the Tories.

Since then the Tories have tried to claim credit for the good things that the LibDems did in coalition - raising the Income ax threshold, the pupil premium etc, but anyone who has been paying attention to politics since then must have realised how much worse an unfettered Tory government has been.

Just watch the results of the Council elections on 2nd May.

Correction- In 2014 the LibDems lost many Councillors and in 2015 many MPs.
