A thread for those of us on the march today :)

Weather still looking good, (perhaps, possibly, even some sunshine?) temps around 12-14, a little gusty at times, cooling off in the evening, so bring an extra jumper if you haven't set off.

Travel safely and see you at the march!

Plenty of marchers on this train from Yorkshire Grin

Those who are there already, how's the tube? Or would a bus be better? haven't really made a plan as only decided to come yesterday. Don't get in to Kings Cross til just before 12 but imagining we've plenty of time to catch up.

RabbitseatDogs · 23/03/2019 10:33

Good luck everyone and well done. I'd love to be there but can't, I will be in spirit shouting and cheering. I hope there's a massive turnout.

wherearemychickens · 23/03/2019 10:35

Well if the numbers on our train are any indication, this is going to be huge. We only saw a few people at this stage in October - this time the train is packed with people with placards Smile

Darkbendis · 23/03/2019 10:36

Yamayo, thank you!

SparklySneakers · 23/03/2019 10:36

Anyone know if any particular tv channel or twitter feed is going to be covering it? Will be glued to the news today.

ElloBrian · 23/03/2019 10:37

I’ll be popping along too.

BeardedMum · 23/03/2019 10:38

We are going. The whole family so 5 of us. My children are making their placards now.

PickleSarnie · 23/03/2019 10:44

I'm getting into St Pancras @Whackaguacamole and planning on getting tube to Baker Street and walking from there to save being on a really packed tube.

ReggieWoo · 23/03/2019 10:45

I'm on my way 🥳

Currently heading into town on a replacement rail service. Lovely MiL has set me up with some delicious scrambled eggs...

Wishing everyone a safe journey and a happy day.

sweeter · 23/03/2019 10:53

I am heading off with my little one - fingers crossed it all works out. Going to try the accessible route I think.

Good luck everyone Smile I am totally risk adverse and not great with crowds but have to do this

MidsomerBurgers · 23/03/2019 10:54

I voted leave and haven't changed my mind, but I'm glad so many people are standing up for what they believe in. This hasn't happened in this country for years!! Shame there wasn't a higher turnout for the vote.

Stay safe people! Have a good day.

Not seen much about it on the news yet?

stayingaliveisawayoflife · 23/03/2019 10:54

These boots were made for marching! Along with my 'Don't make me use my teacher voice' hoodie!

EcclesThePeacock · 23/03/2019 10:58

Best wishes all.

I wish there had been a march somewhere up north too, Manchester maybe.

PostNotInHaste · 23/03/2019 11:00

We"ve made it to services so off the hard shoulder which is something ! Apparently they're ringing local bus companies to find us another. Big Bertha seems to have a dodgy gear box .

BeardedMum · 23/03/2019 11:03

Where those of you with children joining the March?

SparklySneakers · 23/03/2019 11:04

I wish there was one in Manchester too.

SwoopTheJackpot · 23/03/2019 11:08

Good luck today.
