John Humphryrs Solution To Brexit

BBC presenter John Humphrys suggested to the Irish Republic’s Europe minister, Helen McEntee that the Irish Republic should quit the EU and join the UK as a solution To Brexit. Such ignorance is astounding.

Pretty sure the EU said no to re-negotiating. And I don't understand what they can change regarding NI that doesn't effectively tear up the GFA.

Irish commitment to no hard border follows GFA. Which was ratified by a change to the Irish constitution following a legally binding referendum in Ireland. That's how Ireland makes changes to its constitution- through legally binding referenda.
Ironic that ERG numpties think the will of the people only counts when those people are British.

The DUP are going to be in trouble at home in NI if they throw businesses there under the bus.

They'll just blame Ireland and the EU and get more money from the Tories. When the money runs out, that's when there'll be problems.

Does anyone else know these comedians? I want them to do a comedy routine based on what the Irish Minister should have said to Humphries the other morning. I had a whole script worked out this morning, but lost now(!)
