Tell the EU where to stick their backstop. Do a bilateral deal with Dublin. (The ROI also tells the EU where to get off.) Rewrite the Good Friday Agreement. Dig a hole in the garden and bring it indoors, etc.

Thus she gets the Moggsters back onside, pays the DUP protection money, tempts two or three Labour Leavers, threatens her own remainiers with deselection and sets the Mail and Sun on the "Traitors"

Ho hum.

The DUP want it not to be part of Leave. The DUP were against GFA. It suits their grubby little purposes to reintroduce a hard border.

I presume they just want rid of it. They're fine with a hard border (in theory at least, until it happens).

They don't appear to have given any thought about how a hard border will impact their own constituents day to day lives and how that border will be organised and controlled.

There was lots of chat early on about technological solutions, but that died down when it became clear they were unviable.

Thanks Laurie!
