Seriously???

How scary was that? Polish lady saying she feels unwelcome and she gets booed, angry angry people shouting stuff which basically will do them no good. Like just triggering Article 50 without any negotiation strategy will solve anything at all (whatever your opinion on what the strategy should be!)

Although Yannis Varoufakis did say 'ovidian transformation' (the spectable of Remainers like Theresa May turning into hard Brexiters). He asked why anyone would trust them..

And Conrad Black. Why?

Not making snobbish judgements on Hartlepool. Born there, in Cameron hospital, lived for years on Grange Road, still visit relatives who live in Seaton and even further up the road in Blackhall.

I'll make every judgement I like thanks.

Whatever Corcory. I haven't watched it again. I don't need to.

Dress it up all you like. Watch it a million times. Convince yourself.

Whether it be overt or subconscious - its there.

She was booed because she dared to not to agree with the leavers and express how she felt. If the booing with that level of aggression and hostility (which even by QY standards was bad) before she even completed what she was going to say was to try and prevent her from saying certain things by intimidation. She did manage to face it down, but that took guts and was despite attempts to get her to somehow back down.

The audience didn't want her to speak and be critical of leavers in that particular way. Why? Its all about that mirror. Even if they aren't xenophobic, they don't want to shown that they are associating and allying with xenophobics which in turn legitimises it.

For doing the same here, I'm apparently prejudiced. No Corcory, I'm not. Deep down you know it enough to doubt yourself - you wouldn't have rewatched it, in order to give you the moral authority to make the point about how I'm wrong otherwise.

QT is a joke now. Lisa Duffy was allowed to talk over everyone and Dimbleby allowed it. Glad I'm not alone in wondering what convict Conrad was doing on the panel.

When Ken Clarke tried to say it was important to know what the exact Brexit deal would look like (I'm paraphrasing), the audience shouted him down, insisting that we should just get on with leaving because 'the people have spoken. A perfect example of mindless stupidity if ever I saw one.

I can't watch QT any more.

It always makes me very very angry and I have to turn it off before I throw something.

Haven't watch the 'Aren't I clever Dimbleby show' live for many years. However, occasionally I record it and we watch whilst having a lunch time sandwich.
