........that isn't going to happen. Can someone explain it to me? It's not just the bus, by the way- it's this as well. Sorry about the distasteful Gove pic......

So, this extra money for the NHS........

There will be no extra money for anything. Let alone the NHS. That will be swiftly privatised after the 2020 election.

You'd have to be a royal goon to have ever thought the Tories would ever prioritise the NHS with funding after Brexit.

LordRothermereBlackshirtCunt · 17/10/2016 17:08

The NHS will be done for before the next election. It's already on it's knees, A&Es and maternity units are being closed in district hospitals all over the country, they can't recruit doctors (oddly enough no one wants to come here now to be racially abused and paid in a tanking currency) and the fall in sterling means that it will have to find 20% more to pay for equipment and drugs. I agree it will be optimal for the Tories to flog its lifeless corpse until 2020 but, let's face it, they'll probably win the election either way because the opposition is useless and people in areas like mine will vote Tory even if the candidate ran his campaign from jail having been convicted of murder and child abuse.

Sorry leavers, the £350 million doesn't exist.

In any sensible working out it comes to about £120 million per week, but that doesn't include subsidies paid to private firms by the EU.

All in all, it takes a 0.5% reduction in economic growth to wipe it from the tax take.

So the £350 million claim was ridiculously false.

"This 66 billion is another grand scare tactic that will turn out to be as real as David Cameron's world war 3."

Sigh, the £66bn is the impact of hard brexit on the tax take if we leave and trade under WTO rules. Its easy to work out and far less duplicitous than the £350 million figure, or your Cameron WW3 claim which was a hyperbolic tabloid lie.

Really wendy you need to up your critical thinking skills.

smallfox2002 · 18/10/2016 01:27

Oh and look up what post truth is.

BertrandRussell · 18/10/2016 06:32

"many of us have little faith in any politicians and experts being truthful"

But a standard response of lmany leavers, when asked how Brexit will happen, has been to say " I don't know. That's a job for our leaders"

Perhaps smallfox can explain how we can be both net contributors and net takers at the same time??? Because it seems to my 'dribbling morons' brain ,(a delightful turn off phrase small likes to use against leaversHmm) that we can't?

And leavers do understand the rebate, I know you like to project the idea that we cant add up, but we want to control where it goes. Saying the EU gives us all these subsidies is a bit disingenuous, as it's our money to begin with.

merrymouse · 18/10/2016 08:11

I don't think anybody has argued that the UK doesn't pay money to the EU.

They have pointed out that the £350 million figure is incorrect.

The net gain comes from the benefit to the economy of being part of the EU, much of which comes from being part of the single market.

In leaflets sent out by the leave campaign, it was both argued that the government 'could' give more money to the EU (the £350 million figure was quoted) and that we 'could' trade with the EU like Switzerland. Switzerland pays money to the EU. A bit confusing really. However, at least the EU is probably confused too. Wouldn't want to give away any secrets!

EnthusiasmDisturbed · 18/10/2016 08:56

To be fair to leavers Bertrand unless people don't vote they have to put their faith into those that lead our country

It's pitiful that so many have so little faith in our politicians but with promises that are ignored once they are in power or scandals of expenses its little surprise

I'm sure that you could lend me one of yours, small Grin

IamWendy · 18/10/2016 11:01

Moron: usually offensive : a person affected with mild mental retardation.
How nice of small to laughingly call people she thinks below her as dribbling morons.

smallfox2002 · 18/10/2016 11:31

I didn't, you did, and then I made inference to it.

To be fair Wendy you don't cover yourself in glory in these debates do you?

Can you tell me where I have said that the UK isn't a net contributor?

IamWendy · 18/10/2016 12:13

You did on another thread you have been rampaging all over. I reported it then, so it might be gone at its disablist.

Please let me know how the EU are subsidising UK businesses if the money was ours all along?

If love to see how labeling own money as eu money, then being told where to spend it is so good for us??

Uniklo · 18/10/2016 12:17

"What does Boris owe?" lol

Do feel free to quote my post where I'm being racist, I'd be very interested. I'll report them myself if they are. Thanks.

Uniklo · 18/10/2016 12:37

Sadly wendy & co fall for the nasty xenophobic rhetoric disseminated by British mainstream media.

I suppose if you read stuff like his day in day out you do end up feeling under thread from EU dust:

Conker tree could VANISH in 15 years thanks to attack from European moths

FOREIGN invaders could see the end of British conker trees which are facing extinction thanks to disease-filled European moths

Thank goodness for Brexit. That'll learn those EU moths.

Uniklo · 18/10/2016 12:37

That was one of today's enlightened Express articles. Smile Fascinating stuff.

smallfox2002 · 18/10/2016 12:42

On the thread regarding British citizenship you're antagonistic and make dog whistle remarks.

You also wilfully misrepresent information and data all over the place to make your points.

You seriously aren't an intellectual challenge, but I'll continue to do so because your kind of views must be challenged repeatedly.

IamWendy · 18/10/2016 12:49

So, no quotes then?? How odd that such an overly racist, xenophobic person such as myself hasn't made any? Maybe, just maybe it's all in your fevered imagination small. Please try to refrain from names such racist if you have zero evidence to back it up. It makes you look deranged. Grin

smallfox2002 · 18/10/2016 12:55

Funny that everyone else seems to agree on the nature of your posts then isn't wendy. No need for quotes, I've got the measure of you.

Deranged,no, accurate, yes.

Funny that someone who is so lacking in critical thinking faculties continues to try these arguments.

Uniklo · 18/10/2016 12:56

"Funny that someone who is so lacking in critical thinking faculties continues to try these arguments."
Dog/Bone

smallfox2002 · 18/10/2016 12:58

I don't think so at all, try me on the actual debate rather than attacking me, as I repeatedly do bring it back to the debate.
Or just launch another ad hom, because you can't actually debate the issue.

smallfox2002 · 18/10/2016 13:03

BTW according the the leave calculations the amount we pay has gone up.

£/€ exchange rate changes means Brexit vote will increase our contributions to EU by 15%. £402.5m per week for the NHS?

IamWendy · 18/10/2016 13:06

Ah OK.... You have a feeling in your bones that I'm a bad 'un, but can't really point to any post where I've made racist or xenophobic comments? You just don't like my opinions? You disagree with me?? Does that make all leavers racist small or just the ones who post in disagreement with your opinions??
You do make me laugh with all your "battle me on the field of logic!!" guff, when you use a 'feeling' to make disgusting accusations about people.
