Backtracking Boris caught out as liar.

So there you are all those who voted Leave. Boris is backtracking as he bumbles away as usual talking about free movement and trade. So what was voted for? Now, apparently and horrifically, he is on the verge of being prime minister. Once more people seem completely unaware of his devious, manipulative, self seeking, personality. He was useless as Mayor, now, just when we need someone who will work their socks off for this Country and really know what to do to get us out of an ever growing mess, there is a strong possibility that he will get what he aimed for at the expense of the well being of Britain. Shame, shame, shame.

I was voting to leave the EU - not for Boris to be PM.

Boris and Nigel have served their purpose now, they can crawl back under the stones they came from.

No, not to be pm, but based on their campaigning.

And it doesn't look like they're crawling away anywhere, what with talk of Johnson being next pm and ukip doing well at the next ge.

^ So as that's clearly not what you intended, you are an example of another type of leave voter not getting what you wanted the consequences of your vote to be.

I've heard some stunningly naive things said in the past few weeks but this genuinely beats them all.

He should be impeached for his recklessness and lies. He has actually broken a country on the back of his career machinations.

I don't disagree, but I think we also have to remember this sorry mess only came about in the first place because David Cameron couldn't control his party and was so scared of UKIP he gambled our EU membership on a stupid promise that he never for a second thought he, or we, would have to keep.

He is just as guilty as Johnson of recklessness and of working only for himself.
