Leave has won!!!

BillSykesDog · 24/06/2016 04:41

ITV have called a leave win and say it will be about 4%

bkgirl · 24/06/2016 04:41

Thanks Rogan. Do you know if it was an expected result?

Oakmaiden · 24/06/2016 04:41

Fuck. so that is it, then. Being the pessimist I am - we have probably just pulled apart not only the EU but also the UK.

bkgirl · 24/06/2016 04:42

BBC called the same, said remain cannot catch up.

LowerBackPain · 24/06/2016 04:42

Is it official?

dontevenblink · 24/06/2016 04:45

Very scary watching the pound plummet. Can't believe its gone this way. Makes me glad I'm in NZ but worried for family and friends in UK.

ReallyTired · 24/06/2016 04:46

The rich do well out of the EU, but the poor suffer. Most of London is wealthy and most graduates tend to be wealthy.

Why is it stupid to have a referendum? If so many people are unhappy with being in Europe then we should leave. Everyone has a vote, whether they are rich, poor, male, female, black or white, educated or not.

I voted leave because of Frank Field's article. My family will probably lose financially, but the suffering that EU policy has caused working class people is not worth the finanical gains. Junker's speech also alienated me. It showed quite how out of touch EU bureacrats are.

The U.K. will make its way in the world. Sometimes taking a leap into the dark and taking a risk is necessary.

According to the BBC and ITV. Whilst I don't always believe what the media say, that David Dimbleby chap seems to know what he is talking about.

BillSykesDog · 24/06/2016 04:48

There were always going to be problems with the pound because the city was full of people trying to make a quick buck from the result but made the wrong bet.

It will correct itself.

bkgirl · 24/06/2016 04:53

still cannot believe it tbh

bkgirl · 24/06/2016 04:55

I am not one bit sorry for the city wide boys that have lost over this including Soros.

branofthemist · 24/06/2016 05:08

Last night, when they said 'the city' were predicting a remain, dh said leave would win. I'll have to ask him how he knew.

I thought it was going to be remain.

It's one the same way as the GE. Shock vote.
