The first half should contain a lot of facts and truth, the second half will probably be outrageous exaggeration and fearmongering.

I was disappointed how little time Farage was given to discuss sovereignty and democracy. I think there was a lot more to be said about that, and why the EU isn't particularly democratic.

Yes, I agree. 30 minutes is nowhere near enough time to go into any detail. The Establishment don't want long debates in case the people realise what is going on. Compare it to the States where they have 3 hour and 2 hour presidential debates and lots of them.

The polls are too close to call. Already Reuters & The Telegraph are out of date & the poll of polls has Remain a couple of points in the lead.

I reserve the biggest criticism for Julie Etchingham, who allowed the questioners to carry on talking while Farage was trying to answer. There was then silence whilst Cameron could speak to his hearts content, and not answer the question - she did not make him address the man who talked about the impact immigration is having on HIS life. ITV should be ashamed as it made them look biased. The format was awful - 30mins each, not head to head, and with Farage rather than a vote leave person. But then Cameron has dropped a grenade on the Tories and the headlines would have been all about blue-on-blue Tory splits.

The Evening Standard debate hosted by Sarah Sands was much better earlier in the evening.

Cameron had some powerful make up on - his forehead couldn't move!!

I am amazed that there has been no poll for the winner of the debate. Very unusual.

But finally, the Times did an online poll live during the debate with a sample of 2500 and Farage won.
