What is your best ever charity shop buy?

Today I bought DH a gorgeous Austin Reed tweedy jacket in new condition for £2!

I gave them a lot more, but the truth is there is no way we could have afforded this in a 'real' shop.

Charity shops are fab.

wedding dress. £7. perfect. bought day before wedding so perhaps joy enhanced no end by not having to walk down aisle naked!

Pair of leather russell & bromley boots, unworn, for £6.

Loads of children's clothes - best prob a brand new monsoon dress for DD for a couple of quid and lasted her ages.

Oh yes and of course - my wedding dress!

I lurve charidee shops.

Gorgeous, brand new Karen Millen black silk fishtail pencil skirt with orange and turquoise floral embroidery down one side for £5 from an indepedent charity shop in Battersea! Sadly it's a size 8 though - will it ever fit me again?
