@CalmGreenHare this is an old thread. Also as mentioned CHC is funding not means tested. For our DF it was sorted relatively quickly, wishing 3 weeks of admission to NH - he had a Deprivation of Liberty (DoLs) imposed so that might have helped plus amazing staff at the reablement facility he was in before being told he needed full nursing care - plus amazing staff at the NH. I think in reality it comes down to the nursing teams and the note taking/keeping they make.
