I started this section as being her only helper was driving me mad and getting me down

and it helped so many times, some great advice, some much needed support and hugs

she passed away last week

my emotions are all over the place, but I wanted to thank every poster who ever replied to me and gave me help when I really needed it

thank you

and bye mum, I love you xx

I'm so so sorry ssd. I can well imagine you are all over the place. i never saw any of your previous threads but can well imagine that however 'expected' this was, it was still a real shock (having experienced a bereavement myself in the last couple of weeks). I think the death of a loved one is almost impossible to really process, so please be kind to yourself and accept that you need as much time as you need. x

Such sad news, so sorry for your loss.Be prepared to experience a range of emotions ranging from disbelief, guilt, despair, anger and finally over time aceptance. It really is an horendous experience for anyone to cope with.Try and look after yourself by eating well, crying when you need to and leaning on those around you.

I'm so sorry for your loss. No matter how well prepared we think we are for this, we're not, we? I've been in your shoes and know the range of emotions you may be feeling, from relief to guilt, despair to belief. Just go with it and be kind to yourself.

I cant believe how hard its hit me, I thought I might be a bit prepared for this, mum was elderly and very frail and I knew she wouldnt go on forever, but the dreaded day is here
