I started this section as being her only helper was driving me mad and getting me down

and it helped so many times, some great advice, some much needed support and hugs

she passed away last week

my emotions are all over the place, but I wanted to thank every poster who ever replied to me and gave me help when I really needed it

thank you

and bye mum, I love you xx

I am so sorry to hear that you have lost your Mum. Look after yourself, it will all be very raw for a while.

QOD · 15/09/2012 23:33

Oh I am sorry, it's a big hole in your life having been so involved.

Xx

Selks · 16/09/2012 00:15

Very sorry to hear of the loss of your Mum.

Mine is sadly gone too; I know how it feels. But even though my Mum is gone in body she is still here for me in my thoughts and my relationship with her continues and grows as I grow older. She may not physically be here now but she is still in my life and always will be, and that helps. It might be like that for you too OP.

Best wishes.

How was it, if you're up to telling us? Or talk about your mum if you prefer.

ssd · 20/09/2012 19:37

the day was ok, think I was numb for most of it

its just sinking in now and I feel pretty crap, just want to cry most of the time

just feel so sad and low

and its my birthday and all I got through the post was her funeral bill

Oh no. Eat, sleep, be kind to yourself. And remember that this time next year you will be having a happy birthday, whil remembering your mum, as I'm sure she would want.
