Websites with educational and fun games - which ones do you like?

Can anyone recommend any websites with educational and/or fun games for children aged 4-5? Any suggestions welcome - things that help with reading and maths, fun stuff too.
Ds is nearly 5 and we like playing games on the computer, so far we've done the bbc ones, the itv one, sesame street and a few others, but would like to know what other children find interesting and why.
Also, has anyone used any particularly good educational software?

Webland is great for this age Costs £4.95 per month, but you can get a month's trial for free.

don't know how to do links but uptoten.com is great. Has loads of games at different levels.

Show me is great. It's got all the best games from UK museums, galleries and science centres.. totally free, totally non-commercial, all linked in with National Curriculum (if your'e that way inclined...) It's up for a BAFTA.

A lovely site for little ones is Poisson Rouge mostly language free but some is in French some in English, it's put together by a husband and wife tean who also made the Boohbah site

GReat suggestions - it will take some time to try them all out.
At the moment we're mostly on www.sesameworkshop.org/sesamestreet
It's great, and you don't need to read instructions - the game talks to the child and tells them everything, so they can manage totally on their own - and it's all very well made stuff...but if you don't have broadband, prepare to wait a while for the games to load.
Ds loves it, but could do with something slightly more challenging, I think - would have been great if it had another level...As it is, it's probably most suitable for 3-4 year olds.
So, we'll get on with all the new stuff!

www.foxkids.co.uk is good when child registers they send an email to you to confirm this is ok and then every time they log in/play games/vote they earn bloks which can then be exchanged for thing in the boutik. looks like you need alot of points but they soon add up. the site looks a bit more for older kids but the games ae really easy and actually i love em too!! (blush)

Has been mentioned previously but worth another recommendation! Have 2 boys aged 2 and 5 and they both love it. Loads of games, songs etc and has 2 main characters - Boowa (a very English dog) and Kwala (a French Koala!!). Educational and fun. Only downside is US spelling e.g. color but that is just because the majority of users are US but it isn't a US site.
Also the Nick Jr site is good, but haven't visited it in a while.
