Queen’s Platinum coin for Sch kids

I am just wondering if the platinum coin was handed to all the school kids in England.

Ours were given a book only.

No m, we had a book and the PTA gave the children a Teddy each.

My daughters school got the coin and my sons the book- he wasn't happy as the coin looked better!

Ours got a badge. I noticed something in the newsletter thanking the PTA for the badges so I presume that they had to be paid for!

Neither of my children received anything and nor did the children at the school where I teach.

I know schools had to apply for the book. It was free for every primary school child but you had to arrange to get them.

It doesn't look like an actual coin though. Perhaps it's something some schools bought.

Ours got a book but only one per family which I think is a shame.

Nothing here either - some local parish councils gave things (a mug, a coin, whatever the council fancied I think) but ours didn't.

Pta funded the coins for our school. I thought that was it but she bought the book home on friday.

They only printed four million books. At a estimated cost of £12million.

Nothing at my DC's school (state primary, England).
