Any good or bad stories about Clifton College

Does anyone have any good or bad stories about Clifton College in Bristol? We are thinking about it for our 11 year but not as a boarder.

www.mumsnet.com/Talk/education/3644377-Clifton-college has a worrying comment about safeguarding but no other details. Does anyone know more?

the safeguarding references are probably about these events.

However, any school that doesn't have a similar event or two in their history of the last few decades might just not have found the skeletons yet. the thing to judge is how they talk about it now. I don't know anything about the school as a school.

Have also posted on the other thread which is less than a year old.
Following the incident listed by the previous poster, procedures were tightened up and a new Head was appointed.
However there may still be issues as explained in this article www.thetimes.co.uk/article/top-school-clifton-college-hired-staff-unchecked-dqlr0rcg9. They have probably dealt with it by now but it's up to parents to check.
