julienetmum · 09/04/2006 16:12

Finally. I got 53, a grade d :(

suzywong · 09/04/2006 16:16

59 here too but couldn't do the grading

And I thought I was such a smart arse too as I knew all the fractions and even the rhombus

Mercy · 09/04/2006 16:20

I did 2/3rds of the test before it timed out on me - and it won't let me take it again! I thought it was easy apart from the maths ones (always my weak point)

Anyway I passed the 11+ first time round - not that it means anything much tbh.

Did anyone else notice the mistake on the sign in page?

snafu · 09/04/2006 16:21

63 - Grade A

yeamam · 09/04/2006 16:23

charliecat · 09/04/2006 17:04

How are grade bands worked out?
The top 25% are given a grade A
The next 5% are given a grade B1
The next 5% are given a grade B2
The next 5% are given a grade C1
The next 5% are given a grade C2
The remaining 55% are given a grade D

PMSL...need to do some revising!!!!!!!!!!!!

Crivens, I've just been whizzed back 25 years where I 'failed' my 11 plus overall because i got most of the maths wrong but did so well on the English stuff they decided to pass me. Mind you, there was none of this timed nonsense, and we had to do 'proper' English comprehension, answering in full sentences, thank you very much :)
(I also got 54 but a D. Humph. So how come 59 is an A? Am so pants at maths, especially under pressure. Probably would have been ok if I could have 'shown working out' and used pen and paper :)

JoolsToo · 09/04/2006 17:06

seems pretty crap doesn't it 54 is a D????

(well I would say that Wink

jampots · 09/04/2006 17:09

i got 53

fullmoonfiend · 09/04/2006 17:16

JT - am totally with you on the metric thing too. Not fair. I'm too old for this modern nonsense, you know where you are with good old inches etc...>

Mercy · 09/04/2006 17:17

FMF - no you're right it doesn't make sense really.

As you say the real 11+ plus included all sorts of tests. I seem to recall it being heavy on the maths though

Naughtynoonoo · 09/04/2006 17:28

wow 31.6 - is this how many i got right or %???

roisin · 09/04/2006 17:53

JoolsToo · 09/04/2006 17:54
