.. but went to Mass at school today, and discovered that one of their new teaching assistants is not only a parent .... but a > Dad!!! Fab!

School where I volunteer as a teaching assistant has a male teacher for the reception class now that it out standing usually do not see them at primary until yr 4 and above. He very good have seen him in action in many ways better than the women.

There seem to be more men teachers in France than in the UK, but maybe that's just my experience.

My brother is an assistant in his kids' school! He has been given training to give one-to-one support to one particular child who has problems, and is loving it.
