They say to end sales on a Sunday evening as more people are home then and so will be bidding madly.

You have to describe item in full "QVC" stylee gush mode Try channelling the Boden catalogue and say something like:

"These fabulous shoes are perfect with jeans but will be hardworking in the office and take you from day to night effortlessly.
Lovely buckle detail - uppers are 100% leather
blah de blah

Give approximate dimensions on clothes
From Neckline to hem = x inches

Basically give them as much info as possible in the initial copy (which can be as LONG as you like) as it's a PITA answering questions.

Learn the abbreviations - BNWT etc abbreviations

Be honest about any damage/scuffs etc so you get good
feedback.

Oh and special cod advice - use spell check and type PROPERLY!

Good luck. I do LOVE a bit of ebay selling.
Made £200 before Christmas - I'm a pro.

Oh yes, Blueshoes is right - best to get it all on at once - esp if you are a newbie. SHows that your stuff is genuine apparently!
Also means you should only have one trek to the Post office if all your items end around the same time when you come to post it all (and only offered recorded post so you've got proof)
And you may get people bidding on more than one item - easier to put two things in one parcel.
