im selling tickets to a fight,

this woman emails me asking me to put a 'buy it now price' on

i say how much?

then within 10 minutes i get 3 emails

1st- Ill give you £120 immediate paypal payment, but you now have to cancel the bid thats been placed on them, please dont wait as long to reply incase more bids are placed, im only offering you this because at least your listing looks genuine, there seems to be a lot of sellers selling email conformations and not alot of hard tickets.

2- Did you get my message?, please respond sooner rather than later.

Your meant to discuss the matter with me not just ignore!. Do you want to sell the tickets? Im not sitting here all day, there are a pile of best offer listings

so i reply saying

im sorry but its mothersday and im not sat at the computer all day waiting for messages, im busy,
and i wont sell the tickets on the basis that you are quite rude

(which i think she was! - those emails were sent within minutes of each other - give me a chance to reply!!)

so then i get this ...

I dont understand? im sorry if ive offended you, im just trying to buy your tickets? I have to be better behaved to do so? I too want to give my mother some attention instead of emailing and waiting on responses. Your attitude is terrible and that of a premadona and now i have no choice but to contact ebay and have your tickets pulled and your account suspended. Have a nice mothers day. what exactly is she going to report me for - saying she is rude - can she report me?? she hasnt even bought anything??

plus shes techniclly breaking ebay rules by emailing me trying to buy them now isnt she??

well she didnt actully ask to buy it now - now ive reread what she sent at the bottom

she just asked me to cancel the bids and she would give me £120

so i changed it to 'trying to buy outside of the auction'

which is against the rules

thought some more - It's not against the rules to request a BIN but as squonk said - you can't do it once you have a bid, so carefully worded you can point out to her that she was requsting you to break the rules and be underhand towards the bidder.

inform her that ebay don't like this kind of requst from a buyer to a seller, especially when done in such an harrassing and threatening way

Unfortunately you have to give your entire email headings to ebay, they do this to cut down on the amount of timewasters they get, they will see that my emails consisted of asking you to change the listing to a buy it now, which the last time i looked was very much in favour of ebays policies, they will then also see that it is you who is indeed the time waster and take action on your account if they already havent, you really must stop and think before you blurb!

You have now left me no alternative but to contact VERO and bring to their attention that you are in breach of copyright by using pictures of the tickets, you are encouraging fraud, by using the Sun as an advertising aid and the Manchester evening news. I guarantee i will not let this rest until you apologize for deciding how i should behave! You have no right what so ever to dictate how someone should act, this is an online auction, a place where you list items and people buy, bidders! not beggers! we dont have to beg to do business, your email was degrading and demeaning, its ok for me to be prompt with my replies to you but as soon as i question your speed i am all of u sudden unworthy? we all have a life , not just you. Dear ...

Requesting that I cancel bids and accept money from you out of ebay auction is indeed against ebay rules.
I have indeed forwarded all your communication onto ebay and I request now that i hear no more from you.
i fail to understand why you would think they would take action on MY account, but, I don't wish to hear any more of your senseless theories.
I, as I'm sure Ebay will, find your manner of communication most unfitting in a ebay community.I wish to read no more of your nasty tone of address and I wish you well if you chose to use the same tone with other sellers and with eBay themselves.
