Does this sole look like a genuine Clarks?

Hi all, I bought a pair of Clarks suede biker style boots off ebay, brand new. Arrived today - they are nice but the sole looks a bit odd to me (see pic attached). Too smooth when biker boots normally have ridges. And no Clarks logo.

What are your thoughts on this as I'm unsure what to do?

I have those exact same boots. The inside of your "Clarks" look suspiciously unworn for a pair of boots that have needed to be re-soled. If you need any comparison photos, let me know!

The seller did say they were purchased from an Outlet which is fine but we've purchased Clarks from outlets before and yet these "biker" boots still don't seem right to me, IYSWIM

I'm purely invested in this as I went on a red wine eBay binge recently and have 5 pairs of brand new Clarks coming. At ridiculous prices.

Colinthecrow I reckon you will be fine as I bought Clarks sandals from Ebay (new) and they were great. Did you buy from private seller or businesses?
I need to knock my ebay sprees on the head really, but it doesn't help when everything is sooo cheap. Apart from these boots anyway

Three are private and two sellers... I won all of them at their starting bid. All had 100% feedback. I am a total black/grey/burgundy type of person but have a yellow pair of sandals, a purple pair of heels and a petrol coloured pair of boots coming. Along with the two black pairs. Luckily I was outbid on a lurid orange Monsoon dress.

Red wino me obviously likes to add a bit of interest!

And of course in your red wino state you didn't think to ask yourself why you were the only bidder.... The petrol boots sound good though. I won't let myself loose on Ebay after having a drink like now seeing as I buy enough rubbish as it is when I'm sober.

To be fair they all had loads of days to go! And red wino me made some awesome colour choices that I can appreciate now... providing they're not horrible fakes!

Petrol boots are amazing... I had the black leather version which I wore out through wear. Clarks just suit my feet so I have tonnes.
