She is a severely anorexic young woman. She also has a very large YouTube, Instagram and Twitch.

Without a doubt she is a negative influence on those who have an ED and for those who are looking for 'inspo'.

I have reported her content many times (Instagram even has Eating Disorder as an option for reporting), yet she is still there.

She is in the US. In the UK I think should would have been put under Section in order to receive treatment.

One very disturbing aspect is the relationship with her Mother, who is often doing the filming.

Banning her from SM won't help this woman, but might lower the risk of her influencing others.

She looks so ill, I remember her from years ago, her mum is utterly bizarre. I figured she’s making money off her so she doesn’t care.

She really is parading around. She knows what she is doing. You only need a quick glance at her social media and YouTube channel. Sometimes she will wear literal underwear and prance around. She bodychecks herself in the camera.

No, she shouldn't hide away. But she has openly said that she doesn't want help. She also referred back to the time she got help and said 'I hope I'll never do that again.'

She is parading and it's really damaging to vulnerable teens who are a huge part of her audience.

With so many followers she must be making a lot of money. I presume her mother enjoys the lifestyle that money provides hence no reason to want to quit the filming and do what any responsible parent would do. She should be held accountable for child abuse asap.

My DD is currently in hospital with anorexia, accounts like this should be banned.
I’d never heard of this person before but have reported her Instagram for what it’s worth.
DD recently showed me an account she was following apparently on the premise of looking at clothes the girl wanted to sell, it was an out and out pro anorexia fest.

She put some weight on a few years back and looked so so good.

I think it's strange when people want to ban someone like this from platforms. Anorexics will find 'thinspiration' no matter what anyone does. Pro-Ana websites have been around for 20 plus years. It's like saying ban alcohol to stop alcoholism. Eating disorders are an addiction.

I agree. It's so sad that she doesn't see it that way, herself. She thinks that she looks better completely emaciated. It's beyond sad.

If your dd is ill, can you not also appreciate that Eugenia is ill?

Yes and posting these photos for validation that she looks unwell will be just what the anorexia wants to hear.

You can't just excuse any behaviour because someone is anorexic/ trans / autistic or anything else though. She shouldn't be allowed to have any social media accounts when her goal is to make others ill too. Her mum should be stopping it, letting her daughter be a spectacle. Half the people looking are pro Ana and the other half are gawking and laughing at her.

Her mum exploits her. You need to watch some of the videos that her mum is in.
Her mum does all her photo shoots and 'fetish' shoots.

Her mum is totally enabling it.
Her mum also said on YouTube that 'she knows her daughter and the doctors said she was healthy' which is a total crock of shit.

Her mum needs prosecuting. if you're on tiktok search eugenias mum and go down the rabbit hole.

Her mum is god awful.

With her having over half a million followers, mostly teenage and young girls, Eugenia can be the doorway into the 'pro-ana' world.

People look up to her.

There have been videos where people have spoken about how their ED started and how it started because of Eugenia's social media.

Her mum needs to be prosecuted and Eugenia needs her social media taken away so she can stop monetising her anorexia and get some help as she is incredibly incredibly sick. She will not get better all the time she is around her mum and sadly that prob sky won't change.

I don't think she even has a year left. She has pigment spots on her legs now where her vessels are giving way underneath because she is severely malnourished. If you flick back just a few months in her Insta she is even smaller. And we probably didn't realise she could get any smaller. I think she is weeks or months away from death.

Poor Nikki graham, her last appearance via zoom was only a very short time before her death and she didn't look as ill as EC does.

Her goal isn't to make others ill. What an unkind thing to say. People who have anorexia this long have brain damage from it. And no, you shouldn't deplatform anyone with autism either - wtf?

Why put it out on social media though? It's not healthy.

Christ almighty I wish I'd never looked at her Insta. Her mum might not be to blame for her illness, but she's exploiting her and her illness to fuck which is all shades of wrong. I've reported her page.

I think she puts it on social media as a form of body checking. And because she gets lots of comments saying how ill she looks and how she looks like she's dying. Which is what her eating disorder wants to hear

I've heard of her so nobody's advertising her to me. I've also heard of Tess Holliday. They're both dangerous. Weirdly a Eugenia Cooney video came up in my suggestions the other day. I nearly jumped out of my skin.

Completely agree about the body checking... Not that anyone here would necessarily know but does EC dress like that 'off insta' ....my Dd is now in recovery from anorexia (absolute bastard of an illness) and she wore (and still does to a certain extent) layers and layers of clothing to hide her body.

Whilst I'm on my hobby horse, the lack of funding going into research and developing new treatments for EDs is a national disgrace.

I've just looked her up on Instagram. She is glamourising her mental illness.

I've reported her too but doubt anything will happen.

It's my nieces funeral tomorrow. Anorexia kills. Accounts like this should be banned. My niece was in and out of hospital her whole adult life. If you told her she looked well she would think that meant she looked fat. She used to call herself the fat anorexic. It just breaks my heart. It's such a foul disease. My heart goes out to girls like Eugenia as she's clearly very sick but her account will be aspirational to other sufferers and I cannot see any positives for any followers. She's encouraging them to be like her rather than trying to recover.

She's encouraging it. She doesn't want to get better. It doesn't matter if its the disease talking, it shouldn't be allowed full stop. And it positively reinforces the illness.
