I have seen a thread for October babies but I wanted to start one with people I can relate to!

I'm 5.5 weeks, donor cycle and I'm 46 years old!

I'm hoping there's more like me on here? I've had 3mmc 3 chemical, 8 rounds ivf, 4 with donor eggs. I'm tired! Now I'm pregnant and anxious that it's all gonna go wrong.

I had hcg done 14dp5dt and ut was 7640!! I should be happy, but dr google wont let me 😂

@cinnamonda thank you so much for your reply. I am happy, but also guarding my heart. I have a scan on Monday so I'm hopeful that will give some reassurance. My nurse said the hcg levels could indicate multiples 🙃

Not in the same situation but wanted to wish you luck. I have one child via egg donation and relate to the scary feelings especially when you have had such a journey. Just take it one day at a time.

@daisypizza thank you so much. I really appreciate your comment. It's a nervous time! Everyday I'm grateful that it's still going. I'm 6 weeks today, so that feels like a milestone but still scary

Almost similar timeliness.

Turning 40 in April
Donor cycle, Day2 embryo was transfered on 7th Feb. BFP on 20th and 23rd. Exactly 5 weeks today ( 25th Feb), second ivf cycle, first failed attempt to try to collect my own eggs, no eggs :(

Don't feel much symptoms other than occasional sore breats and tiredness occasionally again. This makes me anxious but then many people have no symptoms.

First scan on 18th March. I am with Bournehall Cambridge.

@Annie1306 congratulations! We are very similar timelines, I'm in for a scan on Monday but they are bringing me in early because my hcg was so high. They need to check earlier because of that.

Symptoms are similar to yours, sore boobs and a bit more tired. But it's still early days. Crossing everything for both of us! My clinic is GCRM Glasgow

All the best for your scan @bluebella2 ! Did you had any symptoms? I am worried as I have none and the little that I had have also kinda disappeared since last two days. Don't know how early can they scan.

@Annie1306 I've had symptoms but they come and go. Like you I am worrying a bit, I keep touching my boobs to check they're still sore. But I haven't had much else, nausea here and there but not much

All the best for scan on Monday! Let me know how it goes ! Did you notify your GP yet? I spoke to my fertility clinic and they moved my scan earlier to 11th March. Also I have booked beta hcg on Monday and Wednesday. Surprisingly they didn't do beta hcg.

@Annie1306 that's great they've brought your scan forward, they say the 2ww is hard! But this is so hard aswell. My clinic don't do hcg either! They made an expectation because of my history and I was so anxious. But they wouldn't do a second! How are you feeling?

@Annie1306 I haven't told gp yet as I won't feel confident until the scan. I'm so nervous

Ive just had my scan.... and it's twins!!! Im so relieved, I had spotting this weekend and I expected bad news but both babies had a heartbeat beat

Did you had two embryos transfered or 1 split into two ?

Congratulations! I had my donor conceived DD at 43.

@Annie1306 I transferred two, but only after multiple failed attempts! I thought I'd be lucky for one to stick ❤️

Thought I would comment on this. Am on the IVF March thread but was excited to see others on the same journey. Am doing the solo mother journey about to start my first IVF cycle on my next cycle. Got my pre treatment consultant appointment tomorrow and nurse planning appointment on Wednesday.

@bluebella2 , thank you ! I am okay and just trying to be calm. Not much symptoms other than few here and there and weird taste in mouth sometimes. Keeping my fingers crossed 🤞!

What's next for you? I don't know how do we go about after the first scan. Do you now need to let your GP know and they now take over or fertility team still owns it?

@Annie1306 ive heard a few people mention a metallic taste? Its such a long wait for you, hopefully the bloods will give reassurance.

The ivf clinic have told me I need to register my pregnancy with a midwife so I checked online and I just had to send a form.. now I'm waiting again for a call!

I had a bit of a scare last night, started bleeding. And it's red blood ... I called out of hours epu and they said someone would call me today.

It seems to have calmed a bit today and I'm not cramping so I hope it's ok! I'll keep you posted incase anyone has similar
